The Occupational Health and Safety Authority remains without a new board after the term of the previous one expired in September.

Union Ħaddiema Magħqudin general secretary Gejtu Vella urged the government to take immediate action and appoint a new board.

The board's term expired on September 30, Mr Vella said, and has not yet been constituted.

Mr Vella praised the government's proposals for fiscal measures aimed at helping SMEs comply with health and safety regulations.
