It's GREAT to see Malta featured on such a prominent website search engine as BING (US version only it seems, not on the UK one.... :-( ). It can do the country NO harm in terms of tourism and just general awareness of Malta. Listening to the rain lashing outside my window in Wales and having visited your beautiful land on many occasions, I can safely say one thing about your country.

I am not sure I like that being a heading for these beautiful islands.

That said, if I am not mistaken, the US had leper colonies on Hawaii.

Indeed ! It is a TRUE advert for Malta! Remember that internet is a very useful tool to attract more tourism, so comments of this kind are a plus for sure...for our image & everything :)

Very eye opening is the comment on fort St. Angelo. Which gains in significance once one realises that it was probably made before the fissures appeared in the walls. The comment gives a clue of what foreigners think of our treatment of our monuments.
