Tunisia airport searches
I refer to the letter by the Ambassador of Tunisia in Malta (October 23). My Maltese friends and I (British) just returned from holidays in Tunisia, where we have been many times before.
Our experience and that of many other travellers is that staff at the airport are more after the Tunisian dinars left in our pockets, to empty and give them as "gifts from Tunisia".
There should be a complaints box or officer at the airport to report this.

Wanting to protect your country, countrymen and culture against a massive illegal immigrats invasion does not make one racist Cohen.

Wow... To give up a few loose coins is something I do whenever I go to a country where they have a currency not used all the time by myself. So, if you are at the airport in a poor country like Tunisia and someone asks you for your loose change, why not just give it to them. If you don'f give it to them, you can't exchange the coins back into Sterling or Euros and all that is going to happen to those coins is that they are going to end up at the bottom of an unused drawer...
I see that hanging out with the Maltese has turned you into a racist too... Good Going "Old Chap"!
