The announced Park and Ride extension is a boon for Valletta and its business community. Anyone who commutes to Valletta on a daily basis knows that the present Park and Ride set-up fills up by 9 a.m.

That makes it virtually impossible for any morning shoppers to use the facilities because they're taken up by people working in our capital city before shops open. The planned extension, announced in the Budget, will also go some way towards providing for the parking spaces which will be removed to make way for the Renzo Piano designs for the entrance to Valletta.
