The 'old girls' of St Joseph Convent, Sliema, who left in 1959, recently organised a reunion to celebrate their 50th year out of school, with three flying in from Australia, Israel and France. Also present was the ex-students' Maths teacher, Sr David Borg Costanzi.
The reunion began with a thanksgiving Mass celebrated by Fr Stefan Attard. The group remembered with prayers three classmates who had passed away, and two of their classmates who could not be present. After Mass, they enjoyed a buffet dinner.
