Andrew Thake, 10, from Żebbuġ, who attends St Edward's College, Cottonera, recently won first prize in a drawing/painting competition held by Tunisian airline Sevenair.
Over 80 entries were submitted for the competition, which was open for children aged 5 to 11, and sought their artistic perspective of Tunisia's traditional and modern aspects.
Choomcherd Virapat, 10, who attends Chiswick House School, Kappara, and Diane Parnis, 11, from Luqa, who attends St Bernard School, Sta Luċija, won second and third prize.
Each of the three winners won free flights plus accommodation for seven, four and three days respectively in Tunisia, accompanied by an adult.
The adjudicating panel was made up of Terrence Mirabelli, Wilfred Sultana Med Laamouz, general manager of Sevenair Ltd (Malta branch) as well as representatives from Amphora Travel, JAC Travel and European Holidays.
