Police promotions
The Malta Police has appointed a new assistant commissioner and a superintendent within its ranks.
Raymond Zammit has been promoted assistant Commissioner and Carmelo Magri is the new superintendent. Police Commissioner John Rizzo said the posts carried a lot of responsibility and he expressed his trust in the two officers.

From here I wish to congratulate Mr Zammit and Mr Magri for their promotion. Knowing them as my ex-colleagues during my service in the police force, they really deserve the promotion for their integrity.

I have got to know Mr. Ray Zammit these past 2 years and I have found him to be a gentleman and a person who loves the police force. I congratulate him as he deserves this promotion.

We were happy to read about the promotion to Asst Commissioner of Mr Ray Zammit. He is a person of integrity, dignity and he's an asset to the Malta Police Force.

Knowing Mr Raymond Zammit for the last 13 odd years I am 100% sure that he has all the credentials to be one of the best ever Assistant Commissioners. His integrity and his loyalty towards the uniform he represents speak volumes.
Well done, they both deserve it.
