Theresa Brousson (nee Camilleri) and David Delicata are without doubt the two most successful competitive scrabble players in the recent history of the Malta Scrabble Club.

It is no wonder that they will be representing Malta in the World Scrabble Championship, being held in Malaysia between November 26 and 29. Their target is to earn Malta a third entry at the next WSC.

Their performance in the Autumn League bodes well for the WSC with Brousson and Delicata having virtually secured first and second spots respectively in Division One.

Division Two is a tight contest between Mario Seychell and Frans Farrugia. Paul Frendo, Carmen Stafrace and Pauline Cilia are the front-runners in Division Three.

The club's last one-day tournament was won by Nicky Vella Laurenti. He was closely followed by Charles Micallef.

For the next one-day tournament, scheduled for December 8, a parallel competition for juniors will be held.
