The fifth round of the National League, organised by the Malta Table Tennis Association (MTTA), was held last Friday at the University Complex in Tal-Qroqq.

In Division One, the much-awaited clash between the two main title contenders saw Table Tennis Academy (TTA) edge MITTC 5-4.

TTA have moved to the top of the standings with Melita 'A' occupying second place. The latter will meet the league leaders next week.

In Division Two, San Ġwann Flutisat are still unbeaten after five matches while Melita 'B' Cadets have lost only once.

In Division Three, the young Dream Team are leading the way after extending their unbeaten start to six matches.
