An extra performance of the comedy My First Time will be staged at the MITP theatre in Valletta tomorrow due to popular demand.

The play, produced by Mellow Drama, is unique as it does not just have a single author but more than 40,000. In the late 1990s a website was set up asking people to write in with tales of their first sexual experiences.

People from all over the world sent in their stories - some funny, some sad but all of them genuine. The website's creators were so overwhelmed with the response they decided to turn those stories into a play. Since then My First Time has become one of the longest running off-Broadway productions, described by the New York Post as "provocative, amusing and moving".

The local production stars Julia Calvert, Colin Fitz, Joe Azzopardi and Alexandra Camilleri Warne. It is directed by Wesley Ellul.

The extra show starts at 10.15 p.m. and runs for about 90 minutes. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketline.com.mt.

Due to the adult nature of the production only people aged 18 or over will be admitted.
