PricewaterhouseCoopers has continued to expand, employing another 40 graduands this year.

This brought the company's staff complement to more than 300.

This expansion was announced this morning during a visit to PwC’s offices in Qormi by Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi.

While touring the new offices which house the advisory and audit sections of the firm, Dr Gonzi stressed the importance of the financial services sector to Malta and the ever increasing attractiveness as a financial centre.

Such firms, he added, were important in attracting foreign investors to Malta and contributed to Malta’s economic growth.
