Shrouded in mist
Malta woke up shrouded in mist this morning and radio stations issued warnings to drivers to drive carefully because the roads were slippery and visibility was reduced. The mist crept in in the evening (see video below). The above picture was taken this morning by Martin Vella in Bulebel. The church shrouded in mist is that of Zejtun.

Oh look, while there was all that mist outside, I put on my TV and there were the Teletubbies!
All hail the Omnipotent Teletubbies, for it surely must be a sign!!!

Oh look, you are a minority here after all! Is this the way you want to persuade the europeans from doing what has to be done on your walls?

@ Galea L - I've seen a picture of Portomaso which stands out while everything else is shrouded in mist. Also the Mosque in Paola was above the mist. From my home in Mellieha I could not see the parish church and Gozo and Comino.
Any message to be learned?
What's exactly is your point Mr. Galea?

I know it is not yet 2012 but does this mean that the view from the church is fog all around. Head for the hills, guys!

@ Galea L: The Portomaso tower was also above the mist and also significantly above any church in the mist. What does that signify? Considering it contains a number of the new online gaming companies, we should all get on our knees and face the Portomaso tower - it's the new coming!

This area has a slightly different climatic conditions from time to time. It is in the midst of a prehistoric area. Who knows why our ancient ancestors chose to inhabit what looks like an ancient valley on this site? This area contains many historical secrets waiting to be discovered. Pick up courage young people rise to the challenge. Learn more about your country . Do not get lost in the mist created by your elders. Follow what is substantial

@ Galea. L
...that churches usually are the tallest buildings in most of our towns/villages?

@Galea. L
first lesson- the church is taller than the surrounding buildings and stands above the cloud line. Nothing surreal about that.
second lesson- drive carefully when in restricted visibility

@Galea. L
That this is exactly how the church wants things to stand?

I learned that churches are built high and mist tends to drift around near the ground.. :)

The only message I can read from this photo is this: Build large buildings and they will stick up above the mist, build small ones and they will not. Not sure if there is any metaphorical meaning to any of that, but neither do I see any metaphorical meaning in that photo. Nice picture though!!

I can also see flag-poles and something muky in the bottom right corner. I wonder if there is something to be learned there too.
