Over 120 gas cylinders stored in residential area
Over 120 gas cylinders were found stored in a residential area in Luqa during a police raid yesterday morning.
Three men are being held by the police to help them in investigations.
The police said investigations started after they received a report that cylinders filled with gas were stored in three garages in Il-Wilġa and Gudja streets.
A search in the garages, under the direction of Police Superintendent Carmel Bartolo and Inspector Fabian Fleri, yielded 124 gas cylinders of various sizes, the police said.

I cannot anderstand why all this panic about 120 cilinders of 12kg each,when bugibba and qawra is full of bulk cilinders that are over 1000kg,and still they are in residential area.many of them are in the front of the resturans,covered with a box of anumilium and people smoking on them.this is not danger for you? because if it was under my flat it is a very serious thing!resposable pepole must take action before a tragedy like the one of Naxxar will hapen again
