Desperate plea from Madliena residents

I am again compelled to write to appeal for attention from the competent authorities, especially the minster responsible for roads and infrastructure and the local council of Swieqi and Madliena, as it appears that my pleas and those of Madliena residents to have our roads brought back to a decent level of tarmac have clearly fallen on deaf ears. I am at a loss as to what else we can do to have this area we live in looked after.

I have reported that the lighting in parts of Madliena road as well as Triq Il-Ħarrub have been in absolute darkness now for over three weeks. Nothing, and I repeat nothing, has been done. Will someone please advise us residents what else we can resort to apart from moving out of Madliena and seeking an address elsewhere on the island? We really are fed up with the way the residents of Madliena have been treated especially over the last few years.
