Obituary
ARMENI. On November 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALFRED, aged 60, of Ħamrun, residing at Sta Venera, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Julie, née Gafa, his children Christopher and his wife Joanna, David, his grandchildren Nicholas and Martina, his mother Tessie, his brothers, Charles and his wife Yvonne, Joseph and his wife Helen, Tonio and his wife Carmen and Leonard, his sisters Tessie and her husband Anthony Spiteri, Rita and her husband Joseph Bugeja, Miriam and her husband Francis Chircop, Carmen widow of his brother Manuel, his mother-in-law Giovanna Gafà, his brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for St Francis church, Villambrosa, Ħamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated. The family regrets they are unable to receive visitors at home. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
ATTARD MONTALTO - SAMUEL. On November 15, went home to the Lord at the tender age of 16. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents Nick and Linda, his sisters Rebekah, Hannah and her fiancé Dave, and Abigail, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, members of Palm Springs church and many, many friends. There will be a celebration of Samuel's life at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel, tomorrow at 9 a.m., followed by interment in the family tomb. The family have requested not to wear black in keeping with the spirit of his happy life.

Band Concert
A concert by the Balluta Musical Society will be held on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m. at the Manoel Theatre, Old Theatre Street, Valletta on the occasion of the feast of St Cecilia, patron saint of musicians. The event is being organised by the Band Association.
