There are currently eight companies with permission to operate on a reduced working week, Social Policy Minister John Dalli said in reply to a parliamentary question by Carmelo Abela (PL).

They are Phoenix Group, Edible Oil Refining Co. Ltd, Carlo Gavazzi Automation Components, Tubeline Ltd, Adpro-Instruments Ltd, Rimus Riley Ltd, Magro Brothers Group and St Philip's Hospital.
