HSBC Malta has committed $40,000 for the HSBC Eco-Schools Climate Initiative three-year programme aimed at helping schools understand they can contribute to combat climate change by reducing their CO2 emissions. The programme was launched in the presence of over 300 school children at the Xrobb l-Għaġin Nature Park and Sustainable Development Centre yesterday. Picture shows school children planting a commemorative tree together with Resources and Rural Affairs Minister George Pullicino and Sally Robson, HSBC's chief operating officer.
