Maria Regina reunion

A reunion was recently held for ex-students and teachers of Maria Regina Girls' Junior Lyceum, Blata l-Bajda, as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.

The event started with thanksgiving Mass, concelebrated by past and present spiritual directors of the school, Fr Thomas Moore, Fr Anselmo Vella and Fr Maurice Mifsud. Head of school Victor Agius gave a short speech and ex-staff and students reflected on the last 50 years. Those present were then treated to performances by past students who have gone on to pursue a career in entertainment, including Maryrose Mallia, Alison Ellul, Catherine Vigar, Donna Marie Ellul, Marthese Tanti and Claire Agius Ordway.
