Cruise ship calls at Mġarr Harbour

The MS Prinsendam carrying 751 passengers, mostly Americans, anchored off Mġarr harbour on November 5. Around 650 passengers were taken around Gozo, while the Gozo Ministry co-ordinated a welcoming programme together with Mifsud Brothers Ltd who were responsible for the excursions. The vessel, belonging to Holland America Line and represented in Malta by O.F. Gollcher and Sons Ltd, was the second cruise ship to call at Mġarr harbour in recent weeks. On October 28, the MS Rotterdam, carrying 1,256 passengers, also called there.
