Students from Accounting, Commerce, Law and IT degree courses at the University of Malta were among the 400 who called at Portman International's stand at the Careers Convention held recently on campus.

Apart from receiving information at the stand, which Portman International has put up for the third year, students heard first-hand experiences from members of staff on what it is like to work within an international environment.

Students could also watch corporate videos, offering a comprehensive view of the company's operation and company offices in Floriana.

Portman International managing director David Marinelli thanked all the students who took time to learn more about the company: "Each member of staff at Portman International is an individual working in an intimate environment that offers support and mentoring," he said.

"We are continually expanding, yet we only recruit a handful of new associates each year and take great care to select the right graduates with the right attitude and can-do approach that can make our company stand out."

A number of follow-up meetings will be held with shortlisted students who wish to explore a career with the company.

Students wishing to see what openings are currently offered at Portman International can visit www.portmaninternational.com. Should they wish to be considered for any vacant positions, they can forward a copy of their CV to careers@portmaninternational.com.
