I am Amy the smallest of all your grandchildren. I love you very much and I wish we had more years to enjoy with each other and do things together. I remember all the good times we had and you used to take us to all the places that we wanted to go even though sometimes you did not want to. I also rmember the fun and jokes you used to tell us and I really felt happy when you made us laugh. One of the best holidays we had together was in Spain and we had a lovely time thanks to you. I really wish you were still with us xxxxxxxxxxxxx.
Please pray for me and all the family. I will do the same.

Pawl, how can we forget your smile in the corridors of Dar Centrali? In the below comments, my colleagues (and others) already mentioned your work within the Party. But may I add how you were so much humane and always with a smile in your day-to-day life ... the Pawlu we, at Dar Centrali, used to know ... and will now miss.
Pawl, this is now our only way to tell you Goodbye (we all wish we had at least ONE more chance to tell you goodbye) ... sure enough that you are now resting in peace. I am still remembering your genuine smile, just a few hours before your sudden death ... THE smile we will always remember you with!

Il-Kullegg tal-Kunsilliera Partit Nazzjonalista isellem il-memorja ta’ Pawlu Aquilina, Direttur tal-Ufficcju Kunsill Lokali Partit Nazzjonalista, li miet matul il-lejl li ghadda.
Il-KKPN jirrikonoxxi l-hidma kbira li wettaq Pawlu Aquilna f’dawn l-ahhar snin f-ufficcju tal-Kunsilli Lokali PN fid-Dar Centrali.
Il-hidma ta’ Pawlu Aquilina b’risq il-kunsilli kienet tibda waqt il-process ta’ l-ghazla u t-tahrig tal-kandidati, u kienet tissokta wara l-elezzjonijiet, meta Pawlu kien iservi ta’ spalla u ghajnuna lill-Kunsilliera kollha waqt il-qadi ta’ dmirijiethom. Il-hegga, id-determinazzjoni u l-entuzjazmu tieghu kienu ta’ ispirazzjoni kbira ghal kunsilliera kollha waqt il-qadi ta’ dmirijiethom.
F’dan il-mument ta’ niket, il-Kullegg iwassal il-kondoljanzi lill-familjari ta’ Pawlu.

I knew Paul for quite a long time since we first met when we worked together at The New Dolmen Hotel. In fact I have a nice photo memory of Paul together with Greek singer Demis Rousseau way back in Xmas of 1986 during one of our duty occassions. We always had a good laugh when Pawlu was present, as he used to joke a lot and he had a very good sense of humour. . It was a shock to hear about his sudden loss. Pawlu will be missed by all of us. Illum Pawl il-Mulej li tant ħabbek u inqegħda bik biex għen ħafna nies, sejjaħlek għandu għall premju ta' dejjem!
Aħna li konna nafuk ninsabu imnikta li tlifnik f'din id-dinja, imma fidiċjużi li l-ġid li għamilt ma' għajrek Alla fis-sema ser jippremjak!
Grazzi Pawl tal-pariri u l-eżempji tajba li tajtna u ta'dak kollu li għamilt magħna!

I am utterly shocked! This is a great loss for ELCOM and the Nationalist Party.
I had the honour and pleasure of working with Pawlu in the last General Election and in the last MEP elections, mainly in relation to the co-ordination of the voting process in St. Vincent de Paule and the other Old People's homes.
Pawlu truly loved the Party and was instrumental in the constant search for new talented prospective candidates. It will be very difficult for us to find a person with his charisma and dedication.
Thank you for everything Pawlu! We will miss you a lot!
May the good Lord grant him eternal rest!.

Dear Paul, your passing away is a big shock. I still cannot believe that you will no longer be with us here. Thank you for all your dedicated work and support towards us. You were a good friend and an excellent adviser and we will sorely miss you. The world will not be the same without you. Goodbye, until we meet again, Evelyn........ Sincere condolences.

I last talked to Pawly Aquilina yesterday evening when together with the other PN councillors we attended the first session of the General Council. When I learned of his death this morning I was shocked. Since PAwly took up the role of the party's local councils co-ordinator he gave his all to ensure that the PN's presence in the local councils is effective and fruitful. He was for us councilors (I was a councilor for a year) a person on whom we could turn for guidance and trust. May he rest in peace. My deepest condolences to his family.
