Obituary
GRECH - PAUL, formerly of St Julians, residing in Toronto, Canada, passed away on November 8. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rose, née Scannura, his son Matthew, his brothers Lino, John, and Raymond, his sisters Terry and Rita, their spouses, his mother-in-law Theresa Scannura, relatives and friends. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said tomorrow at 9 a.m. at St John of the Cross parish church Ta' Xbiex.
MANGION. On November 12, at Capua Hospital, Sliema, SALVINO, aged 98, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his loving children Stephen and his wife Sonja, Bernie and her husband Alec Mizzi, his grandchildren Andrew and his wife Charlotte, Michael and his wife Elizabeth, Mark, Martine and her fiancé Jamie, Stephie, his great-grandchildren Nina and Sebastian, his brother Manuel, his sisters-in-law Josephine Mangion, Iris Arrigo and Denise Asphar, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and Anna, his devoted carer. The funeral leaves Capua Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Catechetical Congress
The fifth Catechetical Congress organised by the Secretariat for Catechism will be held this evening at 5.30 p.m. and again tomorrow starting at 9 a.m. at the Attard parish centre.
The congress, with the theme Emergency Faith, aims to discover new and old ways of how the Gospel could continue to inspire and make sense. The congress follows the previous four held throughout the existence of the secretariat.
Lifecycle dinner
Lifecycle Organisation will host a Maltese/Turkish dinner at the Radisson SAS, Golden Sands tonight at 7.30 p.m., proceeds from which will go towards renal patients.

Choral concert
The New Choral Singers will present a concert of sacred music tomorrow at 8 p.m. at the Church of St Mark in Rabat. The event forms part of the open weekend being held at the Augustinian Priory. Entrance is free.
