Lone piper

A piper plays a lament in the rain during Armistice Day commem-oration at the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta, yesterday. The day marks the signing of the armistice that signalled the end of World War 1 on November 11,1918 - the 11th day of the the month at the 11th hour. Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna marked the 91st anniversary by firing a saluting gun at the gardens.
