Lest we forget

Canadian soldiers paid their respects at the War Memorial, Floriana during a ceremony marking Armistice Day, where they laid wreaths. The troops are crew members on HMCS Fredericton, a Canadian frigate which is here until tomorrow while troops take a short break on the island.

Yes, a typing error but thanks and you've probably appreciated my well meaning.
Not the same as mistaking a monument or branch of service!

Part 2:
Considering that these are officers from HMCS Fredricton and are wearing naval uniforms, the term 'soldiers' is most unfitting. How about 'servicemen'!

Actually, this is the Royal Air Force (war dead) memorial. The War Memorial proper is the one on the roundabout where Remembrance Service was held last Sunday.
Although Remembrance Day is actually on 11th December, Malta commemorates it on the preceding Sunday. Although there were still three days to go to the official Armistice date, not one wreath, poppy or flag had remained at the War Memorial 24 hours later. Remembrance Day is not just an ordinary cultural event!
