Meli adds BMW limousine to fleet

Meli Car Rentals has added the new BMW 7 Series stretch limousine to its fleet.

Managing director Reno Meli said the vehicle, the fleet flagship, was one of a host of substantial investments made to upgrade the portfolio of cars as part of the company's 30th anniversary celebrations.

"As a family-run business currently in its fourth generation and with an involvement in transportation going as far back as 1902, we are immensely proud of our tradition of being leaders in the local transport services market," Mr Meli said.

The BMW 7 Series is the result of a marriage of elegant design and supreme engineering on the drivetrain, on the chassis, in terms of safety systems, driver assistance and comfort.

The model also introduces the new generation of BMW's trendsetting iDrive control system. A newly developed controller with direct selection buttons and a high-resolution 10.2-inch control display facilitate intuitive management, control and activation of numerous functions.

This version of BMW's luxury saloon comes with the longest wheelbase in its segment.
