Farsons Group chief executive officer Louis Farrugia is to participate in the Commonwealth Business Forum in Trinidad and Tobago between November 23 and 26, just a few days before the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
Mr Farrugia was appointed to the board of the Commonwealth Business Council soon after he chaired the Steering Committee which organised the CBC Forum held in Malta in November 2005.
The board of directors, made up of business leaders, is chaired by Paul Skinner, until recently chairman of Rio Tinto Group.
Mr Farrugia will also chair a session on the first day of the conference titled "Business Against Corruption". On the second day, he will be speaking at a session titled "Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship - Drivers of SME Growth".
Over 800 delegates are expected to attend the forum.
