CASSAR. On November 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, EMANUEL of Ħamrun, widower of Rita, née Cacici, at the venerable age of 88, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his sons Anthony and his wife Josephine, Joe and his wife Adrienne, and his daughter Marie Lou, his treasured grandchildren Martine and Jonathan, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.45 a.m. for the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere for the repose of his soul will be concelebrated at 8.15 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FALZON. On November 9, at Zammit Clapp Hospital, ANTHONY of Żebbuġ, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Charlie, Marthese, Louis and his wife Rita, his grandchildren Deo and Maria, his sister Winny, his brothers David, John and his wife Guża and Joyce, widow of his brother Ġużi, who resides in the UK, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Hospital tomorrow at 3 p.m. for the Żebbuġ parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Żebbuġ. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

MICALLEF. On November 9, at her residence in Rabat, KATERIN, aged 77, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Joe and his wife Joyce, Paul and his wife Nanette, Manuel, Fr Marcellino Micallef, OFM, Mark and his wife Elizabeth, Joanne and her husband Charlon, Frankie and his wife Gloria, Margaret, widow of her son Johnny, Salvu, widower of her daughter Maria, her in-laws and their respective families, her sisters and their respective husbands, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves her residence today at 3.15 p.m. for the church dedicated to St Mary of Jesus (Ta' Ġieżu), Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to the Sisters of St Clare in St Julians will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

On the trigesima die of the death of MICHAEL CASSAR, a Mass for the repose of his soul will be said tomorrow at 6.30 p.m. at Lija parish church. The attendance of relatives and friends will be appreciated.

Paola bazaar

The Malta Hospice Movement will hold a bazaar at the Paola Youth Centre, 145, Paola Square, Paola next week.

The bazaar will be open from 9 a.m. till noon and 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday.

Dementia meeting

The Malta Dementia Society will hold a Dementia Support Group activity at Lion Street, Floriana (near Argotti gardens) tomorrow at 6 p.m. Those who care for individuals with dementia and any interested parties are invited to attend. Entrance is free of charge.
