Mr. Meier,
So, please enlighten me, Where is there an educational system ? In Germany, may I refer you to the PISA STUDIE !!!
We Maltese Engineers don't do whatever we like with technology, as we don't feel emotion for technology, but emotions for human being´s, like children for example.

Peter Meier
You must be joking Peter.
Is there any country that does not have problems in its educational system?
Notwithstanding our problems, what about Maltese doctors and professors making new inroads into all sorts of areas?

Keep in mind that there is no educational system here in Malta and that most jobs cant be occupied by Maltese! Therefore foreign people need to be employed!

Question : Are all these workers able to integrate in an ex- British Colony ?? An argument that is really at my heart, most especially if they are German. Are there integration courses at hand, such as learning the language my parents spoke, just like other parents on continental europe.
Furthermore, Have these workers gained experience working within nationalistic enclosed environments and organisations ??? Are these managers ???
It is about time Maltese employers and companies to open their minds up as to who are they employing.

@lgalea
Perhaps some are here doing jobs that local people aren't able to do. Until the 7,130 is broken down into employment sector, you can't (unless you like to tell untruths) guess.

Thats a high figure for a tiny island like Malta, very unbalanced figure, when most youngsters are unemployed.

And in the meantime we have some 7,500 MALTESE CITIZENS out of work in our own country!!!!!!!!!!!
Shame on the authorities for allowing this situation.
