Unacceptable wait at government pharmacies

It's a shame that we are treated in the way described by Marceline Blackburn in her letter Unacceptable Wait At Government Pharmacies (October 31). Are those who serve us not disciplined? Does no one supervise them? Do they not know that whoever goes there is sick and can't wait those long hours especially now that winter is near?

I appeal to the authorities to lay down some strict rules to govern the service as soon as possible because no one likes to wait around for three hours. We are being given a Third World service. We deserve more respect because we are ill and we don't go there for a laugh or for somebody to shout "next" at us.
