Gasan Mamo launches car insurance policy add-ons

Gasan Mamo Insurance has introduced several add-ons to its private care insurance policy, including 24-hour nationwide roadside assistance cover and the removal of standard claim excess.

These upgrades come at no extra charge for 'Comprehensive Motor Plus' policyholders.

Gasan Mamo Insurance has appointed MET Towing Service to provide policyholders with 24-hour assistance service. Third party only and fire and theft policy holders have the option of purchasing this add-on, which includes other benefits, for a small additional premium.

Policy holders making a claim will no longer be required to pay the €55 excess and will benefit from free Green Card damage cover for 15 days whenever they travel to an EU member state with their car.

They also benefit from an increased maximum no claims discount of 65 per cent. Other add-ons include assistance and advice in the recovery of uninsured losses, and the replacement of their child seat after the car has been involved in an accident.
