The Labour parliamentary group has called on the Prime Minister to identify overseas laboratories which may analyse the soot appearing over the south of Malta and to declare a date when the results of such studies would be announced in Parliament.

The group in a statement said the current problem was more serious than it was 10 years ago, with the government still declaring it did not know its source. This was a national problem and the government should no longer drag its feet over it, the group said.
