Exhibition of warrants

I refer to the report under the heading Court Rules It Was Correct To Exhibit Warrants (November 6). The court ruled nothing of the kind. Emmanuel Mallia, purportedly quoted by your correspondent, also knows it. Mr Justice Giannino Caruana Demajo never ruled that "the decision by the magistrate to order the warrants to be exhibited was in line with the law".

All that the court decided was that it did not have the competence to rule anything regarding the issue. The judgment will be appealed.
