Further rebates on Go's data roaming services

GO has introduced further rebates on its internet mobile roaming services around Europe and is offering its data mobile customers the lowest data roaming rate available in the market.

The company said in a statement data customers now enjoy a pay per use rate of just €2.50 on all GO roaming network providers in all EU countries without exception.

Data roaming in any EU country for GO contract (post-paid/ pay monthly) mobile customers now costs €2.50 per MB, charged with 1 KB increments via all roaming network providers in the EU - meaning that a Go roaming customer now pays 0.24c for every KB consumed.

This rate shows a rebate of 50 percent over the previous charge as the discount previously applied to a few preferred networks while all the rest cost €5 per MB.

All set-up charges have now been removed and charges are now on a per KB basis meaning that, with immediate effect, customers pay for what they use at a standard price for all EU operators.

Go pay as you gO data mobile customers using data roaming in the EU countries enjoy a pay per use rate of €3.50 charged per 64KB on all EU networks, against the previous standard rate of €8 per MB, charged with 64 KB increments.

Meanwhile the BlackBerry EU add-on has been reduced from €15 to €10 with immediate effect.

Could all these reductions mean that people aren't buying into this somewhat overpriced product?
