Some time ago there was an exchange of correspondence relating to the collision of two Wellington bombers at Luqa on the night of March 8/9, 1942. In this month of remembrance, I will be mounting a small display in the exhibition area of the University of Malta library between November 16 and 27.

The aim of this display is to remember the Australian airman Sgt Ronald McGregor Herman who was one of the casualties of this incident but who, unfortunately, has been overlooked in a recent publication. Items in the display will include copies of official documents confirming his status.

It is hoped that, in this manner, any distortion of history may be avoided/corrected.

All those interested may view the display during the University library's normal opening hours.
