Gozitan held after drug find

The police have arrested a 33-year-old Gozitan after heroin was found in his car.

The police in a statement today said the arrest was made by a Drug Squad patrol in Cirkewwa yesterday.

The man had started acting suspiciously when he saw the police, but his vehicle was stopped and searched. 80 grams of heroin were found.

Magistrate Silvio Meli is holding an inquiry.
