The Corinthia Group is extending its Palm City project in Libya, which will provide high standard accommodation for expatriates living near Tripoli.

Company officials said the project is to feature an additional 100 apartments, a lagoon, a boutique hotel for guests of Palm City residents and more entertainment facilities.The project is being developed jointly by Corinthia and a Kuwaiti company.

Sited at Janzour, some 20km from Tripoli, the project has so far featured a total of 412 seafront villas and apartments available for rent. The new apartments will be the first to be offered for sale.

Facilities available when the original project is completed will include a private beach and pool, lido and restaurant with 240 covers, boutiques, a post office, retail outlets, coffee shops, a bank and a travel agency.
