BORG. On November 3, MARIANNA, née Galea, aged 80, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her loved ones. Will be greatly missed by her husband Francis Xavier, her son Godwin and his wife Marthese, Monica and her husband Godwin, Dr Eileen Borg and Odette, her grandchildren Alberta, Analisa, Stephen and Cristina, her sisters Agatha and Antoinette, other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at San Ġwann parish church at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CAMILLERI. On October 29, ANTON, aged 53, born in Nadur and residing at Qala, Gozo, passed away peacefully to go and meet the Risen Lord. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Marlene, his son Clint and daughter Francesca, his mother-in-law Kitty, brothers, sisters and in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends among whom the Qala local council of which he was a member. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital tomorrow at 3.30 p.m. for St Joseph parish church, Qala, where a Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m. followed by interment at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Qala. FARRUGIA. On November 2, NADIA of Rabat, aged 29, passed away peacefully after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude. She joins her father Charles in heaven after 24 years. Nadia leaves to mourn her loss her mother Carmen née Magro, her sister Daniela and her boyfriend James, her brother Edward and his girlfriend Sarah, numerous relatives and friends, among whom her uncle Mgr Sylvester Magro, Bishop of Benghazi, and her cousin Fr Joseph Magro OFM. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 3.30 p.m. today for St Mary of Jesus (Ta' Ġieżu) church, Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Margerita Cemetery, Rabat. MICALLEF. On October 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, JACQUELINE, née Dunbar Vella, of Sliema, aged 46, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Michel, her daughters Tamara and Tara, her aunt Lilian Caruana Soler who brought her up as a daughter of her own, her sisters Jennifer Hague and Felicity Dunnett, her in-laws Henrietta and Henry Micallef, her cousins Edward and Jackie Caruana Soler, Alexander Caruana Soler, Edwina and Noel Barthet, Maryanne and John Papagiorcopulo, Nathalie and Ray Ferris and Roberta and Mark Borg Busuttil, her sisters-in-law Elvira and Simon Petroni, Joanna and Kenneth Azzopardi, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for Balluta church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. TABONE. On October 30, DR ANTON TABONE, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his brother, Father Crispin Tabone OFM Cap, his children, Lea Hogg, Claude, Christian and Dr Edwina Daly, his grandchildren, Arabella and Alastair Hogg and Tara and Anna Daly, his family, Melita Tabone, Antoniette Tabone, Victor and Roseanne Licari, Mary Lourdes Licari, Ruth Aquilina, Daniela and Richard Scerri, residents and staff at Casa Antonia, other relatives and friends. Human life

An inter-faith celebration of life will be held on Friday at the Robert Samut Hall in Floriana at 6.30 p.m.

The Malta Unborn Child Movement will be bringing together expectant parents, schoolchildren, teachers and parents from the Christian, Moslem, Jewish, Hindu and Baha'i religious communities in Malta to recite prayers and make presentations on the beauty and sanctity of human life.

Bible course

As part of its centenary celebrations, the Christ the King parish of Paola will be holding a Bible course in seven sessions on the theme Christ The King And His Reign Amongst Us.

Starting tomorrow, sessions will be held weekly on Thursdays at the parish hall in Ġużè D'Amato Street at 7 p.m. until December 17.

The Living Ability Not Disability group, LAND, will be holding a fundraising car wash on November 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Msida Marina car park, at €5 a car. There will also be a cake sale.
