i wonder is joseph muscat also setting up a section for the landlords who had their property confiscated and given over to the mlp to use as clubs? just wondering! there r plenty of these out there too

An inclusive European society acknowledges differences and the right of these individuals to participate fully in civil society. Hopefully European Malta aims to become an inclusive society not one based on exclusion and the denial of civil right due to sexual orientation. Why are some so threatened by inclusion? Mr. Galea, the LGBT community and their families are also part of the electorate or are we to understand that in Malta LGBT individuals are only conceived by left wing families, given that the other main party is loath to give more than a bad ventriloquist's lip service to the issue? Maybe we're getting closer to the day when MPs on both side of the house will not have to deny their sexual orientation and be shunned if they do. That would be quite a day in parliament! The only thing that should be sidelined and shunned is the pervasive hypocrisy and homophobia dressed up as default righteous indignation.

Is the (M)LP doing the right thing for these type of people, by organizing these groups into sections?

By being gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and trans-gender, or with any other tendency for that matter, does not suffice such a distinction, as after all, everybody is equal and the same, even whether being male or female.

All these categorizing of individuals will only lead to MARGINALIZATION and I am sure that these types of people would never want this!

I believe that the members of the LGBT are being hood-winked into joining such a section.

Open your eyes, if you want to be respected by every one and don’t get involved!

As the Maltese saying goes “ Tidholx Bejn il-Basla u Qoxritha”!

In this respect, it is a pity that mules, crocodiles and giraffes have no vote because surely the PL would have created the animals' section.

In reply to your misleading comments, the PL is doing exactly what it’s soul policy asks for, to take care of every citizen especially the underprivileged and society outcasts.

Are you one of those fools who live on a high moral pedestal until one of your siblings or close relatives happens to fall into one of these categories? Will you remain so righteous?

Is it that difficult to integrate within the MLP/LP structures that a new section reflecting a lifestyle has to be set up in order to make sure they are not left out?

You are right Paul. I can see it now. One day we will be living like humans. Everyone will have rights and we will have a government that runs the country based on what is morally right and fair. People will have the right to say what they feel and art will be able to be shown in public. People who have been abused by who they married will be alowed to get on with their life. People won't be treated as less than others because of their sexual preference. Oh my oh my Paul, how could we ever live in a world like that.

Is thIs this the new face of the Labour Party. Well, I must say Partit Laburista, because now it has changed its name. In fact it seems that it has changed radically, because it has also lost its principles. The important thing for the party with a new leadership is to gain power.
First it proposed the introduction of divorce.
Now it is stetting up the gays and lesbian sectioin within its structure.
What next?
