Inmate fined for having drug in prison
Jason Mifsud, 29, of Sliema, was today fined €437 by the Magistrates' Court after he was convicted of having been in possession of heroin at the Corradino prisons.
Another inmate, Domenic Azzopardi, 34 of Mosta, was acquitted.
Mr Mifsud was not found guilty of having taken the drug into the prison.
