Up to 3,000 young people took part in an illegal rave in an old factory, a local MP said yesterday.

The youths were playing loud music and taking ecstasy all night and the party was still going strong yesterday morning, Mid Bedfordshire MP Nadine Dorries said.

There is no water available for the ravers at the Wavendon Heath site in Bedfordshire, she added.

She said: "We have 3,000 kids taking ecstasy with no water and a kid could die any moment.
