My deepest condolonces to the Grima Family. Joe was a good friend of mine. Even as M.P.s, though we were on opposite sides we exchanged views frankly and sincerely. Last time I saw Joe, he told me how was fighting a battle, which unfortunately he lost.
His courage should be an inspiration to his family.

Joe Grima was a big friend of mine since childhood having the same age and coming from the same village
I still cherish the days we spent together in the same class having religious lessons in the MUSEUM.
He had a hard time in politics knowing those circumstances in which he entered for the first time in Parliament. He gave a lot to his country in various modes.
May God give him eternal rest and my condolences to his wife and children and not least his brothers and sisters and their respective wives.

I got acquainted with Joe in 1986 and became good friends instantly. Throughout these years our friendship never had a moment of reproach and we always cherished a great deal of mutual respect. Joe was an honest politician and a great gentleman.
May he now rest in eternal peace and may God give enough strength to his family to cope with his sad absence.
Our condolences to his family.

Sincere condolances to Joe's family and relatives for the loss of a friend whom I have known since the 1970s through his Impact Publicity and Advertising company and later as a member of parliament.

A ''gentle'' gentleman has passed away to better pastures. Joe was an old Lyceum schoolmate of mine, a nice man who never changed regardless of the circumstances he found himself in, or indeed the positions he held. Deepest sympathy to all his family. He will be missed.
