Raise cash with a moustache

Today is the first day of 'Movember', a charity event throughout November in which volunteers will grow moustaches to raise money for the Equal Partners Foundation - a parent-run, non-profit foundation providing individualised support programmes to children and adults with disabilities and their families.

There will be weekly themed fundraising nights throughout Movember for volunteers, supporters and curious members of the public at the official Movember bar - Mojito's on Tower Road, Sliema.

The first will be an overwhelming Music Night with Modest DJs on Saturday. This will be followed by a Band Night in the Moon Light on Movember 13, the Miss Movembers of Tribal Dance Malta on Movember 20, a Mexican Party on Movember 27 and the Monstrous End of 'Tache Bash Movember 34 (on December 4).

Prizes donated by Vodafone can be won at each event and a percentage of the bar takings will be given to the Equal Partners Foundation.
