Qormi battled past a resolute Mqabba side yesterday to book their place in the next round of the FA Trophy.
The Premier League high-fliers recovered from a poor first half to see off Mqabba who had made life difficult for Qormi with some stubborn defending.
Again, Camilo was Qormi's trump card yesterday as the Brazilian struck a hat-trick after the break to avoid an anxious finale for his team.
Mqabba almost pulled ahead early on. Glenn Barry's delivery was met by Jean Paul Muscat but his effort was somehow kept out by Matthew Farrugia. From the rebound Vilson Caushi's shot went over.
A Massimo Grima free-kick for Qormi smashed against the bar and a minute later Joseph Chetcuti's angled shot finished just wide as the match remained balanced.
On 24 minutes, Muscat powered his way into the Qormi box but his shot never reached the desired target.
Qormi coach Jesmond Zerafa was then forced to make his first change when Ryan Deguara replaced the injured Jonathan Bondin.
Just before the break, Alfred Effiong sprinted to meet Grima's throughball but Mqabba keeper Kris Calleja was alert to intercept the pass.
Mqabba looked the more dangerous side after the interval and on 49 minutes Farrugia did well to push Caushi's shot away from a corner.
However, it was Qormi who drew first blood on 51 minutes when Mauro Bonnici was adjudged to have handled Deguara's cross. Camilo stepped up for the kick and fired the ball into the bottom corner.
Just past the hour Deguara served Camilo whose shot on the turn was stopped by Calleja.
Qormi doubled their lead on 69 minutes when Camilo headed past Calleja after Effiong had been pulled back when on the point of shooting home.
Fourteen minutes from time, Calleja needed to dive full stretch to push George Chircop's stinging shot away for a corner.
It was all over for Mqabba 11 minutes from time when Effiong found Camilo and the Brazilian fired the ball past a helpless Calleja.
