Liverpool see red as they crash 3-1 at Fulham
Nine-man Liverpool suffered a sixth loss in seven games today with a 3-1 defeat at Fulham in a day of red cards in the Premier League.
Defenders Philipp Degen and Jamie Carragher were two of eight players to see red today as Rafa Benitez's men were undone by goals from Bobby Zamora, Erik Nevland and Clint Dempsey.
Chelsea stayed top of the league with a comfortable 4-0 win at 10-man Bolton Wanderers, while Aruna Dindane hit a hat-trick as Portsmouth beat Wigan Athletic 4-0.
Earlier Arsenal had coasted to a 3-0 win over north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur to move into second. Manchester United can go above them with a win at home to Blackburn Rovers in the day's late match.

@Mrs Charles Micallef
It was a halloween horror show by the boys . Another poor performance but fortunatly I missed the game because of work. Surprised your sister did not a write comment as well.By the way I always sleep well , I'm used of it. It's not the first time we lost and the way we are playing ,it's not going to be the last.!

@ Kevin Sammut,
Please tell Benitez that It takes more than beating MU to win the Trophies,
they could always ask MU to show Liverpool what to do to win some silver.....
OK Kevin...Do sleep well tonight!
With love from one of the Micallef twin sisters! the good looking one.

So Man United's gentlemanly act of last week was all in vain. At this rate Liverpool will be fighting relegation this season.

Liverpool don't know how to play when the referee isn't terrorized by their supporters.
