Open weekend

The first phase of restoration works at Fort Manoel, Manoel Island, have reached an advanced stage and the consortium responsible for the works, Midi plc, is hosting an open weekend today and tomorrow. There will be scheduled tours around the fort in Maltese and English and lectures by top military historians and restoration experts.

Fort Manoel is one of the many unique places in Malta. Such a restoration was long time due and very welcome.
Looking forward for the open weekends in Forts Sant Angelo and Saint Elmo after their restoration:)
