Dislodged bricks fall on builder

A construction worker was seriously injured by falling bricks dislodged by a crane in Siġġiewi yesterday, the police said.

The man, 62, who lives in Għargħur, was rushed to hospital at about 1.30 p.m. He suffered a number of broken bones but was not in a critical condition.

The accident happened on Ħal Farruġ Road.
