Government pharmacies to open late as from Monday

Government pharmacies will be opening an hour late as from Monday following industrial action ordered by the Union Haddiema Maghqudin.

The UHM said in a statement that although a risk assessment on the clear health and safety shortcomings at these pharmacises had been carried out several times, they had continued to give a service.

There was another problem being created by the department which was transferring pharmacists and pharmacy technicians from this to other departments without these being replaced.

This, the UHM said, left it iwth no other option but to order the industrial action.
