Maltese band SCAR will be releasing its second album, called Breaking Radio Silence, this weekend. The album features the latest hit single "Mind The Gap" which just hit the number one spot on the Bay Malta Radio Charts, and includes smash hits "All My Life" and "Stolen".
SCAR is formed by Konrad Pule on vocals/guitars/keyboards, David Cassar Torregiani on lead guitars and Michael Scicluna on bass guitars.
Breaking Radio Silence is a follow-up to SCAR's debut album released in 2003, which had won the "2002/2003 Best Album Production" award at the Malta Music Awards while working with David Vella at Temple Studios in Malta.
To maintain its great partnership and evoke similar success SCAR teamed up with producer David Vella once
more, this time also bringing in Luuk Cox of Shameboy fame to mix the tracks; "Working with Luuk was a fantastic
experience, and he managed to bring a fresh new sound to our music." The album was mastered by infamous
maestro Frank Arkwright at Metropolis Studios in London (critically acclaimed work on Beatles and Depeche Mode back catalogues).
SCAR was formed in 2001 and its music has enjoyed constant airplay, topping the local radio charts whilst also
experiencing exposure on various prominent foreign stations including a signature tune on RAI in Italy.
