The year 1979 is only one out of 16 long years. During that particular period political violence against the Nationalist party started in June 1971 and came to an end in May/June 1987 when Eddie Fenech Adami and his government saved Malta.

I strongly believe that the purpose behind what happened in those years was that of trying to get rid of the Nationalist party once and for all. We are obliged to forget and to forgive but we are also obliged to tell the truth.
