It has been reported (October 24) that the old chapel of Santa Marija at Tal-Virtù in Rabat had also been used for "black masses" after being abandoned for so many years and last Thursday it hosted its first Mass celebration after 70 years. Being used by Satanists - for a long or a short time, I don't know - it was certainly desecrated.
May I ask: In these circumstances, if the Church knew of such a thing, was it supposed to re-consecrate the chapel once again, before last Thursday's Holy Mass was celebrated?
If not, what other action should have been taken by the Church, even if the chapel was privately owned and passed through the hands of many landowners, prior to resuming church services in the normal way after Satanists regrettably made illegal use of the chapel by kicking out the Guardian Angel and inviting Satan in to take his place and perform his devilish acts, probably using the same sacred altar?
Were the Church or the land owners aware of what was going on inside the chapel at some time or another? After all, how did the Satanists take possession of the chapel. Without any difficulty?
If the Church or somebody else knew of what was going on, especially if these Satanic acts were repeated over a long period, why did they let this sacrilege happen? What is the Church now supposed to do, call in St Michael and throw out Beelzebub, if it hasn't done so already?
Can the Church clarify matters?
